Front-End Focused .NET Developer (Mostly Remote)

Walker Elliott is partnering with an established technology company that builds data-driven applications used in the field. They are seeking a Front-End leaning .NET Developer with strong experience building modern, browser-based businessapplications. This role emphasizes UI development and client-side frameworks, with some backend API and data-layer work. The position is mostly remote, with one day per week in the office.

What You'll Do:

• Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for large-scale business applications
• Develop and maintain front-end functionality using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with backend services via RESTful APIs
• Contribute to UI architecture, performance, and usability improvements
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and ongoing enhancements

Required Skills / Experience:

• Strong front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Hands-on experience with Angular, Vue, React, Backbone, or similar JavaScript frameworks
• Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and WebAPI for backend integration
• Experience consuming APIs and working with JSON
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and relational data concepts
• UI component libraries such as Telerik Kendo UI
• Experience with Git or other distributed source control
• Understanding of OOP and application design principles
• Exposure to unit testing and modern development practices

Nice to Have:

• Experience building mobile-focused or field-based applications
• Background in Oil & Gas or industrial environments
